We’re a small, focused team led by Harry, a former tech strategy consultant who spent six years advising AI and education businesses on growth and product-market fit. After seeing how generative AI tools began to erode deep thinking in professionals, he turned his attention to students — where the stakes are even higher.
We believe the next generation deserves tools that encourage reasoning, curiosity, and confidence, not shortcuts. That’s why Socratic is being built in close collaboration with parents, teachers, and researchers to deliver something trustworthy, transparent, and grounded in how learning actually happens.
This is not another chatbot. It’s a rethink of what AI tutoring should be.
